Education Select Committee says school governance needs to be upskilled

The Education Select Committee report on School Governing Bodies has been published today and its main findings are that school governance needs to be simplified, upskilled and more businesses should encourage their staff to become school governors.

We are delighted to announce the partnership of Inspiring the Future and SGOSS Governors for Schools to offer being a school governor as an Inspiring the Future volunteering option to diverse people from all jobs, careers and professions.
