Emma Fieldhouse

Broadening children’s horizons is very important to the staff at South Parade Primary School and in 2018, they became the first school in their area to host an event using Primary Futures volunteers. The event received local media attention and visits from senior members of the local council and inspired other local schools to host their own aspiration-raising activities with Primary Futures.

Emma continues to use Primary Futures volunteers to support curriculum-learning and works with her colleague Deborah to help children connect the dots between what they are learning now and their futures.
