Nicola uses Primary Futures to help children discover aspirational careers that they would not ordinarily have access to in their local area, aligning with her school’s bespoke curriculum.
She believes it’s a teacher’s job to prepare young people for their futures, academically and beyond. She loves seeing children raising their aspirations and realising that they can be whatever they want to be.
“We managed to link up with a pilot and the Chief Operations Officer at Gravity Industries – a company who make human jet suits that enable humans to fly. This absolutely fascinated our children and really sparked a love of exploring different careers. From engaging with so many encounters with different careers, our children now actively think about what the future may hold for them.”
